Join us for an exciting Dino Discovery Day, featuring live dinosaur shows, walkabout dinosaurs and hands-on activities throughout the day. Perfect for dinosaur fans of all ages, this outdoor, festival-style event offers plenty to see and do at your own pace.

What to expect on the day

• Four live dinosaur shows across the day, featuring:

  • A full-size T-Rex

  • Two baby dinosaurs

  • An over-the-shoulder dinosaur experience

• Dinosaur walkabouts taking place between shows

• Minibeast scavenger hunts around the museum site

• A free dinosaur craft activity in our Makers’ Shed

• A film screening of The Good Dinosaur - a relaxed family-friendly screening during the day

• Lots of dinosaur goodies to purchase from our shop and on-site retailers

• Time to explore the museum site and outdoor areas

Important ticket information

Please note: all entry to the museum is ticketed on this date.
This includes access to the Dino Discovery Day activities, live shows, walkabouts and museum grounds.

Visitors will be given a wristband on entry, which must be worn at all times to access the event and museum site throughout the day.

• Early bird tickets: £13 per car (limited availability, advance booking recommended)

• Standard tickets: £15 per car
