Join artists Lenny and Whale in a hands on exploration of the journey and creative approach behind the making of the new exhibition at NCMME, ‘Villagers’ inspired by the iconic sculptural work of Betty Miller, one of the highlights of the Museum's collections.
With a focus on the relationships between ideas, drawing, sculpture and technology, the session will provide examples of approaches to sculpture using cardboard, clay and digital app based technology.
The session is suitable for all teachers interested in gaining an insight into the development of a sculptural body of work and how this can be transferred into the classroom.
